This week on Liberty's self-titled 'International Women's Day Extravaganza' show, she spoke to Lucy, DJ and co-founder of WXMB 2. A group of ladies who are helping to carve out a better and more equal path for women in the music business. To celebrate IWD this year we are hosting not one, but two events on Friday 8th March. By day you can head over to the rooftop of Global in Leicester Square for a networking opportunity and panel talk with women who are absolutely killing it in the industry, including Lauren Stone of Global and Faye Williams from Universal Music. Then in the evening chuck on your jazziest outfit and groove on down to Netil House to hear some bangers from WXMB 2's all female DJ lineup with DJ FARO headlining.
